Hello lovey readers! I am currently covering for just so so many people on my team, who are out for the holiday. So let’s take a break and chat about books, shall we? Oh and before I do that, this goes without saying, uh, be really nice to your coworkers, who cover for you when you’re out. Especially if you plan, like, let’s say, a two week trip to Japan. Just as a wacky example. Not that any of my coworkers are doing that or anything.

ANYWAY.

Between the audio books and novellas, I put up some pretty decent numbers for June. Not sure if it’s the summer or the heavy shit that’s going on in the world (probably both), but I just can’t get into fantasy or dark stories. I’ve stuck mostly to lighter, swoony reads, especially towards the end of the month. Content warnings don’t usually stop me from reading, but lately I just can’t with some of the heavy stuff. Anyone else running into this?
