Also, what I ate on thanksgiving. Here are some pictures:

Oh hey, Katie, did you make those delicious looking cinnamon rolls? I’m so glad you asked. You betcha I did. *Brushes shoulders* I happen to be a bit of a whiz in the kitchen, thankyouverymuch.
As we usually do for holidays, we had brunch at home and then headed over to the family’s house. Between me and my other family members (one of whom is an actual chef, by the way) we prepared the food and then all sat down to FEAST. It was spectacular.
My favorite moment was during dinner, when one of the kiddos roped us all into playing several rounds of the Animal Game. Imagine 12 people shouting out questions between bites of food, in order to guess which mystery animals people were thinking about. Pure, wholesome fun. Of course, due to said kiddos, I can’t post the other photos that I took, but there were many.
In other news, I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately.

I’m hoping to get it together soon to post some book reviews. I need to gush about Alethea Faust to you all because they do not get the recognition that they deserve and I need everyone to start reading their books immediately. Also, I think I might have finished (in December, so it’s not listed here) the best book of the year and I can’t wait to pour my heart onto the page about it. It’s more popular, so I’m sure I will be preaching the choir on that one, but TBD.
For the US peeps, I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Seriously cannot believe that it’s December already. Wild. Anyway, thanks for reading!
