ANYWAYS…
Lately, I’ve been getting absolutely rocked by my work load at my job. On the one hand, that’s a good thing because our sales team is kicking ass and the company is making money. On the other hand, I’m currently 120% utilized, which in non-corporate speak, that means I’m 1.2 people right now. People have been people-ing and the technology hasn’t always been…uh…technology-ing, so that’s always a challenge. But I also have to remember that, although the work I do is important, I’m not, in fact, saving lives. At the end of the day, everyone is doing their best and we’re all going to make it through.
So yeah. I haven’t had a ton of time to read. Or write.

At the beginning of this year, I had high hopes that I would read 150 books, but it’s looking like that won’t happen. I’m definitely going to keep trying and, if it doesn’t happen, I will still try for it again next year. What I really need to do is delete tik tok from my phone because I certainly found time to watch videos. Funny, that. Hope you all had a lovely August! Let me know if you read anything good (or bad)!
