I’ve been busy. Stupid busy. And stressed. I haven’t decided how much personal stuff I’m going to write about here, so I’m sorry if my vagueness is annoying. Lately, between work chaos, financial woes, family nonsense, household things, and so much more, I haven’t had as much time to blast through books like I usually do. Which is problematic for a book blog.
Rest assured, I am reading, just nothing that I want to write about yet. I finished Queen of Myth and Monsters by Scarlett St. Clair. I feel weird writing about books that I didn’t love, so I’m just going to let that one lie. It ended with unfinished business, so I’m holding out hope for the next one. I’m almost finished with the Vicious Lost Boys series by Nikki St. Crowe and I will definitely be posting about this one. I love this series. The books are super short, but if you read them back to back, together they are pretty much the length of one epic fantasy.
Tomorrow the last book in the State of Grace series by Colette Rhodes comes out, but I might have to wait another month for the paperback. Depending on the timing, I might go ahead and read the Kindle version, then order the paperback later. After I finish this series, I think I’m going to do a “let me be your hype girl” post because I haven’t seen anyone talk about it and it needs to be shared.
Other than that, I found myself on conspiracy TikTok for about 15 minutes yesterday and it was extremely entertaining. My algorithm gifted me some gems such as living gargoyles in the backyard, timeline shifts, explanations about why we are living in a virtual simulation, backroom evidence, and the Illuminati. Oh and then I watched some videos about space and planets. Totally nerded out. There was this one video comparing the size of planets, stars, and black holes to each other. Now that’s terrifying stuff.
Anyway, sorry if this post is a little lame, but it’s about all I have to give today. Next week I hope to have more reading to share. Have a good weekend!
